Sydney FC - Transport Options & Sky Blue Shuttle

Sydney FC are happy to announce transport arrangements accessible for all Members and pre-purchased ticket holders to Sydney FC Hyundai A-League home matches in Season 2018/19.
 
Integrated Public Transport

Please see below the integrated ticketing arrangements for each home stadium individually, noting that specific schedules will be set closer to each event date. Transport NSW and the club will release an event specific information page in the week leading into to each game. For the most up to date information, we encourage all Members and fans to visit https://transportnsw.info/ regularly.

Jubilee Stadium

Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from Jubilee Stadium on Train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations), Regular bus services, Sydney Ferries services and Light rail services. 

The closest train station to Jubilee Stadium is Carlton Station and is serviced by the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line. On match days all Up and Down express Illawarra Line trains will make an additional stop at Carlton Station.

Note also that a number of regular Sydney Buses services including routes 958, N10 and N11 also stop close to the stadium.

The Sydney Cricket Ground

Valid pre-purchased match tickets and Members passes include travel to and from the SCG on Train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations), Regular bus services, Sydney Ferries services and Light rail services.

The closest train station to the SCG is Central Station and as per past seasons Transport NSW will also run an express Moore Park Shuttle Buses (Route 1) to and from Central Station, which all valid pre-purchased match tickets and Members passes will have access to.

Note also that a number of regular Sydney Buses services stop along Anzac Parade near the precinct including routes 339, 372, 374, 376, 391, 393 and 395.

Leichhardt Oval

Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from Leichardt Oval on Train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations), Regular bus services, Sydney Ferries services and Light rail services.

Light Rail is a good option for fans making their way to the ground, with the Lilyfield stop within walking distance of Leichhardt Oval. Additionally regular Sydney Bus services M10, 470 and 440 all stop within the vicinity of Leichhardt Oval.

The club is also looking into a standby post-match buses to return patrons to closest light-rail and train stations, however this is still to be confirmed.

Terms & Conditions

Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on public transport until 04:00 the day following match day. An additional station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. Your event ticket does not include the access fee, so if you're travelling from these stations you'll need to pay the train station access fee.

Sydney FC’s Sky Blue Shuttle Program



After a successful trial of the club’s first ever Sky Blue Shuttle program last in the 2017/18 season, the club will look to run this program again through local football clubs in Sydney.

The program is a user-pays program dedicated to making it easier for Members and Fans to travel door to door from their local community ground to our home matches.

The program aims to take the hassle out of parking, public transport travel and where possible ensure the travelling group are able to sit together in stadium.

The club would like to open up expressions of interest from local clubs and club ambassadors who are willing to take on the program for next season.

Each club and club ambassador that registers must adhere to the following criteria:

Has a local ground with suitable pick-up drop off area for a bus, as well as a minimum of 20 car parking spots
Is in excess of 5kms from each of Sydney FC’s home grounds
Will commit to filling a bus at a minimum of four games per season
Is willing to commit operational and marketing time and effort leading into each game, and be in attendance on match day
