Bangor FC Training Academy returns May 6th!
Exclusive to registered Bangor FC players, the Academy teaches fundamental football skills in a fun and social environment.
The program is designed to complement our existing Club structure and training schedules, providing players with additional opportunities for growth and development. Under the supervision of our professional coaching team, Eddie Briscoe and David “DJ” James, Academy members receive personalised coaching and support, helping them to refine their skills and elevate their game.
We know that each player develops differently, therefore, by working in small groups, our coaches will provide a framework of encouragement, expertise and most importantly, fun!
The academy is open to all registered Bangor FC players from the age of 5+.

frequently asked questions
your questions answered
When will it Kick Off?
The first sessions will kick off on Monday 20th February 2023.
What are the Location details?
We will be based at our Billa Road facilities.
Will a kit be provided?
No. An academy shirt is available for purchase at a cost of $35. At a minimum, players must bring football boots, shin pads and a water bottle to each session.
What happens to my normal midweek training session?
Nothing, the Academy is an additional option available to your child to complement our existing structure. Each Bangor FC team will as normal be provided with a training session and play a competitive game at the weekend.
What squad will my child participate in?
The coaching team will determine the squad based on your child’s ability. Regardless of the squad selected, due to the small number of players in each session, our coaches will be focused on individual development.
For Term 1, the coaching staff will make an assessment during the first session and allocate each child to either the Development squad or the Advanced squad. This will determine if your child will be attending the Monday sessions (Development) or Friday sessions (Advanced).
Do I need to be registered to Bangor FC to participate in the programme?
Yes, this programme is exclusive to registered Bangor FC players only.
How much is it and how can I pay?
The programme is scheduled around the school term and will operate for 10 weeks per term.
The cost will be $120 per term, which is equivalent to $12 per session. For the first term, there will be 6 sessions commencing 20th February 2022, therefore, the amount payable for this first term will be $72. For all terms thereafter the price will be set at $120.
Payments must be made in advance by arranging an Electronic Funds transfer to:
Bangor Football Club Inc
- BSB: 062-333

What if my child is ill, injured or cannot make the session?
Unfortunately due to scheduling restraints and the provision of professional coaching, no refunds will be available for non attendance.
What if the fields are closed due to adverse weather conditions?
A makeup session will be arranged for all sessions cancelled due to wet weather. We will issue the date and timing of all makeup sessions and provide a minimum of 14 days notice period.
